Lowell High School

Lowell used the RCA season opener to shake the spring break rust off as they competed against Sparta and Cedar Springs. Lowell used some balance scoring from all events to get their points and at the end of the meet they ended up splitting against the two schools with a win against Sparta and a close loss to Cedar. The 8-point margin against the Red Hawks is one first place finish or five points out of the 17 events. Marshall Huhn was a multi event winner closing out the 800 and 1600 as well as being a member of the 3200m relay team. Marek Pullen smoked a win in the 100m as he is now #2 on the LHS record board. On the day Lowell set 89 personal bests and there were thirteen performances that hit the varsity letter AQ mark. Lowell is back in action on Friday as they travel to Hastings for the Hastings Invitational.
