Lowell Remains in the Hunt after RCA Split

The Lady Arrows brought their undefeated record to the RCA Quad #2 and headed back to Lowell with a 3-1 record splitting the meet against Coopersville and Kenowa Hills. On paper the Arrows were looking at an uphill battle against the Broncos as they are a deep team that has one of the best distance teams in the state and at the end of the night the score pretty much matched what was on paper and Coopersville remained undefeated. In the meet against Kenowa, Lowell used its depth and scored points in all disciplines to easily distance the Knights as the meet was decided with about six events to go. The best news of the night were the 42 personal records that were set by the girls. These PR’s are the best indication that we are moving in the right direction as we head into the last week of the regular season. Lowell will honor long time teacher and coach Kathy Talus as they host the Kathy Talus Invitational on Saturday.
