Red Arrows Distance Shine at Kathy Talus Invitational

Lowell used the Kathy Talus Memorial Invitational as a opportunity to let the guys get some great times in a relay format as Lowell honored long time teacher and coach Kathy Talus at the meet named in her honor. Lowell presented two DMR teams and they went1-2 in the race (2nd team did not score in this format) with all the legs nailing great times for their legs. The A team made up of Tyler Bromley, Cody Bromley, Marhsall Huhn, and Cooper Byrne went 20:09.51 for the win. The B team of Drew Swayze, Colin Stawasz, Kingson Remar, and Avi Elabed was 8 secs behind coming in at 20:17. In the 3200m relay the team of Braam Maatman, Bromley, Bromley, and Huhn took 2nd in 8:21.26 which was the best time of the 2026 season. In the sprints junior Ian Kuntz ran 11.50 in the pre-lims which not only earned a spot in the finals but also was the #10 time on the LHS record board. Other medalists on the day were.
