Lady Arrows Finish 3rd at Kathy Talus Invite

Saturday was a big day at Lowell HS as the school prepped for PROM and honored coaching and teaching legend Kathy Talus by hosting the Kathy Talus Memorial Track Invitational. Kathy coached the girls track program for 25 years and waged a courageous battle with cancer during many of those years. The meet which saw Caledonia come away with the team win had great competition and near perfect weather. The Arrows grabbed thirteen medals in the fifteen-event format and had one double event winner as Olivia Lothian set a couple of PR’s in the LJ and PV going 15-2” and 11’ respectively. Lothian teamed up with fellow vaulter Brynne Schmuker to grab the gold medal in the PV relay, joined up with Lauren Harrington to earn 2nd in the LJ relay and closed the day in the HJ with Ahley Pohl to tie for 2nd. Other medalists on the day were.
