Girls Varsity Cross Country Takes 3rd at Sparta Invitational

The Lady Arrows traveled to Sparta where they were able to capture a 3rd place finish behind Byron Center and Rockford. Audrey Conrad continued a great season as she captured runner up honors in a time of 20:45. In addition to Conrad Lowell had two medalists as Lauren Swain took 17th in 23:03 and Canaan McKinney captured 19th in 23:26. Rounding out the scoring for the Arrows was Clara Erikkson in 23rd (24:05), and Alexis Haines iin 24th (24:11). Completing the varsity was Theresa Judd (26th) and Anna Gaskins (29th).
The 3rd place finish combined with the boy’s 1st place finish allowed Lowell to win the CO-ED championship trophy for their division.
In the JV race Katrina Sandman captured the last medal as she took 20th place in a PR time of 25:11.
