Arrows Continue to Battle at Allendale Falcon
The Lady Arrows not only worked hard leading up to the Allendale Falcon Invite but topped of the week of hard work with many All-Time Personal Bests as well as Season Bests. The team finished in 9th place but the manner in which the competed is more telling as to where they are in preparation for the final meets of the season. Saying the girls worked hard this week is an understatement! This was one of our toughest weeks of the season in terms of both mileage and interval work. The kids had a great week and I knew we would see some magic on Saturday.
The Arrows were led by Audrey Conrad as she finished in 21:28. Following Conrad was a tight quiver of Arrows as the rest of the group finished in just over a minute of one another. The next step is to move the quiver closer to the lead Arrow. The quiver included Alexis Haines in 22:15, Lauren Swain in 22:26, Annika Sandman in 22:26, Clara Eriksson in 22:41, Canaan McKinney in 22:48, and Theresa Judd in 23:17.
In the JV race Lowell saw three out of four hitting PR’s in the race. Keira Sandman hit 23:42, Katrina Sandman hit 24:03, and Sara Simoes hit 29:35.
