Arrows finish 5^th at Jamboree #1

Cooler temps greeted the OK White XC teams as they opened the conference season at Calvin College Gainey Field. The Arrows continue to come together as a team as they used a solid one thru seven effort to finish 5^th in the jamboree won by EGR. Lowell’s 1:5 split was 3:46 and the team will need to drop that by a minute to move up in the standings. Lowell was led by Annika Sandman and Katrina Sandman as they finished 5^th with a time of 19:20 and 12^th with a time of 20:32.   Scoring for the varsity was Keira Sandman in 23^rd (21:21), Claire O’ Boyle in 51^st (22:46), Megan Lillie in 55^th (23:06), Jamara Harper in 60^th (23:24) and Kaylee Byrne in 69^th (24:01).

The day was also highlighted by five personal records (PR’s). Kiah Burgess, Anna Forney, Bri Fullerton, Millie Groenlund, and Megan Lillie all ran career best times.
