Lowell Varsity Red Arrows 2021 won their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off double at the end of the game to topple FHC Rangers. The game was tied at two with Lowell batting in the bottom of the seventh when Kyle Teachworth doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Lowell Varsity Red Arrows 2021 pitchers struck out 13, while FHC Rangers Varsity pitchers sat down six.
Zach Hayes was the winning pitcher for Lowell as the righty lasted two innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out three and walking zero.
Xander Reisbig started the game for Lowell and the lefty allowed two hits and one run over five innings, striking out ten.
Jaxson Carlisle led Lowell Varsity Red Arrows 2021 with two hits in three at bats.
