Arrows edge GR Christian, Fall Shy of Byron Center

The Lowell boys track team started their 2022 campaign by getting in an old fashion scrap with GR Christian and Byron Center where both meets were decided by 7 points. In the track world that is basically a 4-point swing which means a lot when many of the races were separated by less than a second. The kids competed hard and we saw 15 AQ (auto qualifier for varsity letter) marks met, a 3200m time that moves to #4 on the LHS record board, and some amazing races by both newbies and veterans alike. The only thing missing was a double victory.

Lowell travels to Caledonia on Saturday for the Soderman Relays.
