The boys JV Soccer game against Cedar gave a big jump up with a 4-1 win! Goals Scored by Logan Wurtz, Garrett Smith, Noah Vanlaan, and Danton Goulet! Big win in the conference! As a team, we played aggressive and showed we wanted to win that game. Looking ready for the competition this week!

Boys Junior Varsity Soccer Wins 5-0 Over Northview

Arrows Win: 5 - 0
Nothing better than coming back to the playing field after a tough loss than getting a 5-0 win over one of our biggest rivals, Northview. Northview always competes well against us, but we took control and showed the conference just what we are made of. Only 1 goal in the first half from a very smart play between David Foster assisting Ryan Baker. The other 4 came in the beginning of the first half from Ramsey Ponchaud (2 goals) Garrett Smith, and Logan Wurtz with a Penalty kick to finish the game. As a team, we were brilliant. I do want to specify two players, David Foster and Danton Goulet. I asked them to take control of the game and they stepped up and performed. David had great vision of the field and was able to get multiple assists tonight.

Arrows Lose: 0 - 3
The 3-0 loss to Forest Hills Northern was a bit of a struggle. They were the better team, but we stuck with them for most of the first half and second as well. We had some things to work on and still do, but I was happy with the way my players came out in the second half. We were tired, but we fixed what we thought needed to be fixed from the first half. Shout out to Captain Goal Keeper Lancdon Hamilton for protecting the goal line the way he did. Also, our back four defenders Noah Vanlaan, Karan Shahi, Jacob Davidson, and Andrew Snell with Jason Korzen also playing a key role with them. These five did a great job of shutting down a fast offense. Better things looking forward!

Forest Hills Eastern game was the second game of the day for the Boys JV Soccer Team who played this game 20 minutes after the CC game, so the 4-0 win is much more impressive! Goals from Ryan Baker, Ramsey Ponchaud, Jason Korzen, and Logan Wurtz led to our victory against a team that always gives our JV squad at the beginning of the year. With two clean sheets, our defense and goal keeper Lancdon Hamilton were locked in. We still have a long season to go, but this was a great start!

Catholic Central- JV Boys Soccer won their first game of the season 5-0 with 2 goals from Garrett Smith, and goals from Danton Goulet, Austin Hendrick, and Grayden Rooker! It was a great start to the season and the boys proved they can work together.
